1/ Can Armenian passport holders apply Vietnam E-visa?
Vietnam E-visa for Armenian passport holders was suspended for a long time due to Covid-19 spreading out seriously. Armenian and other citizens had no way to apply Vietnam E-visa in that period.
After a long pause due to COVID 19 pandemic, Vietnamese government has resumed the e-visa policy from March 15, 2022. We are happy to inform that Armenian citizens are eligible for applying Vietnam e-visa right now! This kind of visa is available for 80 nationals including Armenian.

2/ Official Guide for Applying Vietnam E-visa For Armenian
The requirements for Armenian passport holders to be granted Vietnam e-visa according to the Vietnamese laws:
- Armenian will enter Vietnam from outside Vietnam, through 1 of 33 entry gates which are accepted by E-visa
- Armenian need to enter through exactly the entry gate which is shown on E-visa approval
- Armenian must hold a valid passport with minimum of 6-month validity and 1 blank page
The Armenian applicants satisfy above regulation can make an online application for Vietnam e-visa. They will need to follows 3 steps below:
Step 1: Complete the online application form at https://www.vietnamimmigration.com/apply-vietnam-visa/ , A passport scan and recent taken portrait are required.
Step 2: Pay the service fee with your credit/debit card and get visa code;
Step 3: Use the code to check the result. If e-visa is approved, it will be sent to your email which is registered on application form. Please print it as a hard copy and bring it along with your passport to enter Vietnam.
3/ How long does it take to get Vietnam E-visa approved for Armenian?
The normal processing time for Vietnam e-visa for Armenian is 3 working days. A PDF file of the visa will be sent to Armenian applicant’s email. Therefore, It’s recommended for Armenian people to make visa application as soon as possible. In Vietnam E-visa application form, Armenian can also choose express service to expedite the visa process. Emergency Vietnam E-visa service can be done within 2 working days, 1 working days or even 2 working hours.
If you are not hurry, you can wait for 3 working days to get visa approval. If you don’t have time as the date of arrival is coming soon, you should make urgent application for urgent e-visa service. In this case you will definitely get an e-visa within 2 working days, 1 day or even 2 working hours, ready for boarding the plane.
